Electronic water treatment has been known by engineering community in Bali Island and has been applied with little success. Although Hydroflows have been widely used by industrial circle, the engineers remain skeptical about this technology. An opportunity was given to us by a renowned 5 stars resort* to proof that Hydroflow’s technology is unrivalled.

The case study was conducted on two Rheem hot water heater units in two separate locations, 500 meters apart. Heater A, the feed water was equipped with Hydroflow type HS38 and Heater B without Hydroflow. Before the test, the water tanks were flushed and new elements on both heater was replaced with new ones. The water contained impurities and rusted metal chips.

The heaters element were dismantled precisely three months later and it was observed that Heater A’s element was free from scales and corrosion while Heater B’s was covered with scales and started to corrode. The water in Heater A was much clearer compared to Heater B’s.

The Elements were cleaned and reinstalled. After 3 months, second observation was carried out. Elements in Heater A remain free from scale and corrosion, while Heater B’s elements show severe corrosion and covered with thick scales which have to be replaced.

With this verification all doubts about Hydroflow technology were subdued and the engineering director decisively made up his decision to use Hydroflow technology to take care of all the resort’s water heater.
