How It Works

The patented  technology applies continuous sine wave at 200 khz – 300 khz thus creating electric energy which in turns forms magnetic waves, this energy is then induced into the liquid by powerful ferrite transformer. With the power transfer rasio 1 to 1, the chargeable species – calcium, magnesium – will be attracted to each other forming seeds in suspension. This technology creates homogenous reaction, thus scale causing heterogeneous reaction is averted.

In a close system, like boilers, the seeds will collapse when water become super saturated and settle at the bottom of the vessel as sludge. Regular blow down will flush out most of this sludge. In open system, this seeds will flow out with the liquid.

Descaling
Formed encrusted scale will be dislodged over time. When water in the boiler is unsaturated, with the drop of temperature and pressure, the scaled surfaces will dissolve back into the solution and attached themselves to the charged seeds. Normally, after 1500-2000 hours, most of the old scales will collapse.

Exceptions
can not clean a system with silica scale. However, with , further growth of silica scale can be avoided, this is due to the unavailability of growth media, calcium and magnesium crystals which is averted. We highly recommend to have the system descaled prior to applying hydroflow.
